Women’s Chess Team Claims Silver too at the STEM Games

The Faculty’s women’s chess team repeated the success of the men’s team, taking home 2nd place at the tournament! The STEM Games student tournament took place from May 17th to May 22nd in Umag, with the chess tournament held at the Hotel Pelegrin in Katoro. The students delivered an outstanding performance to finish in 2nd place, competing with the following lineup: Kristina Kos, Ema Pozderac, Tea Marinić and Sara Pavlović. In the decisive medal match, they secured a 3-1 victory to capture the silver.

Congratulations ladies, on an incredible competitive spirit and a well-deserved silver medal!
