The Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka is hosting a guest lecture and presentation of the book Future-Fit Innovation by author Barbara Salopek on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall P1.
The lecture titled “Future-Fit Innovation – From Technology to Innovation” will explore how to turn ideas, research, and technological solutions into practical innovations that generate value for individuals, organizations, and society.
Barbara Salopek, Founder and CEO of Vinco Innovation and guest lecturer at the BI Norwegian Business School, will present real-world examples and insights from the field of innovation, focusing on the role of people, teams, and organizational culture in their successful application. Her book, Future-Fit Innovation, has received international attention and was named a finalist at the International Book Awards.
The event is intended for faculty members, researchers, students, industry experts, and others interested in innovation and connecting academia with the business world.
