On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, as part of a field trip for the course Power Plants, graduate students of the Electrical Engineering Study Programme visited the Vinodol Hydroelectric Power Plant in Tribalj and the Vrataruša Wind Farm near Krivi Put, above Senj.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to directly compare two different technologies for renewable energy generation. Led by expert site guides at both facilities, they have further expanded their theoretical knowledge acquired in lectures while gaining valuable insights into the practical operational challenges and technological aspects of each power plant.

We would like to thank our hosts for their outstanding hospitality, dedicated time, and informative expert-guided tours. We wish them every success in their work and look forward to future collaboration.
