Riteh Sailing Team is a student sailing team, whose members are primarily students of naval architecture from the Faculty of Engineering. The team participates in both national and international regattas, combining theoretical knowledge of naval architecture with practical maritime skills through sailing.
The team aims to build teamwork, technical expertise, and a competitive spirit, while promoting study in Naval Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering. The team competes in sailing regattas such as the International Student Regatta Trophée Île Pelée in Cherbourg, France, where team members Mistral Matulja, Lun Šanko, Petra Lukačić, Paola Miletić and Ena Vlah have represented the University of Rijeka, gaining practical experience sailing a J/80 sailboat. The team`s most notable achievement is a 3rd place at the STUDENTS@SAIL 2025 European regatta held on the Krk Island, where they competed in total of 16 races.
