The Section Electronics, Robotics, and Automation activity relates to the theory, modeling, characterization, and performance of semiconductor devices with applications in optoelectronics, biosensors, nanoelectronics, and photovoltaics.
Specific research areas include:
- Color detection with an a-Si:H p-i-n photodiode
- Characterization of a-Si:H solar cells and photodiodes
- Study of the defect density of states in the intrinsic layer of a-Si:H –based photodiode and solar cells
- a-Si:H p-i-n photodiode as an optical label-free biosensor
