Istraživačka skupina APASLab ostvarila je značajan međunarodni uspjeh osvojivši treće mjesto na natjecanju Unconstrained Ear Recognition Challenge 2026 (UERC 2026), organiziranom u okviru konferencije IEEE/IAPR International Joint Conference on Biometrics 2026 (IJCB 2026).
U snažnoj međunarodnoj konkurenciji, APASLab je postigao izvrstan rezultat, potvrdivši kvalitetu istraživačkog rada u području biometrije, računalnog vida i strojnog učenja. Ovaj uspjeh predstavlja važno priznanje za rad našeg laboratorija te dodatno potvrđuje našu vidljivost u međunarodnoj znanstvenoj zajednici. Rezultat je ujedno pokazatelj konkurentnosti razvijenih metoda i istraživačkog potencijala u području suvremenih biometrijskih tehnologija.
Rezultati natjecanja bit će predstavljeni na konferenciji IJCB 2026 koja će se održati u Rimu od 1. do 4. rujna 2026. IJCB je jedno od vodećih međunarodnih događanja u području biometrije, okupljajući znanstvenike, stručnjake i istraživačke skupine koje razvijaju najnovije metode za analizu, prepoznavanje i sigurnu primjenu biometrijskih podataka.
