Prof. Marko Per\u010di\u0107, Postdoc. Petar Glju\u0161\u0107i\u0107, and Postdoc. Matej Glju\u0161\u0107i\u0107 the students visited the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irb.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ru\u0111er Bo\u0161kovi\u0107 Institute<\/a> (the Laboratory for Ion Beam Interactions and the Laboratory for Optics and Optical Thin Films) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/ifs.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Institute of Physics<\/a> (the Center for Advanced Laser Techniques). During the visit, they gained hands-on insight into thin-film deposition and characterization technologies, the use of ion beams for material characterization, and advanced laser technologies utilized in nanostructure synthesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to express our gratitude to the scientists at both institutes for their hospitality, kindness, and for sharing their valuable knowledge with
