In some years, we also had students from France doing their summer internships (5 students from the University of Nantes, in three consecutive years) and we also had a student from India (Indian Institute of Technology). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, the laboratory is equipped with equipment that can support activities in various scientific research topics and student graduation theses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary activities of the lab are oriented towards research and teaching in the fields of high-frequency applications, which include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>analysis and design of\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>antennas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&#8230; and other microwave circuits such as microwave filters and power dividers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>analysis of electromagnetic wave propagation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>algorithms and circuits for the Internet of things (IoT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>algorithms for applied electromagnetics (advanced antenna system control, usage of FPGA circuits, characterization of dielectric properties of materials, remote control of measurement instrumentation in real time etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>computational electromagnetics and electromagnetic modeling using commercial CAD tools or writing our own codes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>analysis of communication networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In a broader sense, as means to support the primary applications, and a complementary part to it, we occassionally also build:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>web applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mobile applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lab Members<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prof. Miroslav Joler<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prof. Mladen Tomi\u0107<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current Activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mjoler.info\/research\/e-clothing\">Smart Jacket Development<\/a>.
