Aims<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The vocational undergraduate study program in Naval Architecture, based on a project\u2011oriented teaching approach, is focused on the design, construction, and maintenance of small craft. The aim of the program is to train specialists capable of performing more advanced operational and technical tasks in the projects stages for small vessels, yachts, boats, and other related craft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program provides students with applied knowledge necessary for active participation in the planning, preparation, optimization, and supervision of design, construction, and maintenance processes for small craft, with particular emphasis on modern technologies and the practical application of acquired skills. Students who wish to continue their studies may do so at institutions offering professional graduate programs in naval architecture. It is also possible to continue to the university Master’s degree program in Naval Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka, subject to the specific admission requirements determined by the Faculty Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Select criteria for the dimensioning and building of technical systems in naval architecture<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Select criteria for the dimensioning and forming of technical processes in electrical engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Professional and applied competencies \u2013 naval architecture<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Solve a given engineering problem by using acquired methods and with the possibility of applying appropriate engineering tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Carry out complex operational tasks in technical systems projects in naval architecture \/ planning technological and production processes \/ power plants<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Apply the principles of ethics and ethical responsibility and understand the influence of engineering solutions on the society and the surroundings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
