Accounting division performs financial and accounting tasks. The accounting division ensures the legality of financial operations, makes all payments related to salaries, author fees, and contracts for work, controls, calculates, and pays travel orders, pays bills domestically and abroad, records all business events in the general ledger, compiles monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports, communicates with the Ministry of Science and Education, the University of Rijeka, the Tax Administration, FINA, audits, banks, and coordinates its operations with these surrounding entities.
