Aims

1. To provide support in the process of designing the structure of vessels, from modelling of merchant ships, small vessels and other marine structures, development of computer structural models for design and production (3D Experience, CAFE), static and dynamic structural analysis of metal and composite structures (LSDYNA , LSPrePost), dimensioning and optimization of structural elements of marine structures (LSOPT, BV MARS2000, BV ComposeIT, LR-SSC) and the application of virtual reality in design (3D Experience)

2. Using laboratory equipment in the production of models and smaller parts of marine structures for the needs of student projects, graduate and final theses within the Naval Architecture study programs:
