Physics Laboratory

The Physics Laboratory consists of experimental equipment suited for educational purposes and exercises the knowledge gained from physical courses held at the Faculty of Engineering. The experimental setups can be used for basic research in the fields of physics and engineering.

The Laboratory is mainly equipped with PHYWE scientific kits, whereas PHYWE has been developing, producing, supplying and installing experiments and solution systems for school education and scientific research.

The Laboratory gives the an opportunity of measurements in the fields of:

Atomic physics – X-ray Experiments

Basic set covering the fundamental principles and areas of applications of X-rays, e.g.

  • fluoroscopy experiments and
  • X-ray photography.

It can be extended for specific applications and topics by means of upgrade sets.

With the PHYWE X-ray experiments can be utilized in several different fields of education at universities, colleges and schools. The set permits custom applications in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, material sciences and geo sciences.
